Clayworks School White Clay - 10kg

An excellent plastic, easy to work, white to buff clay, with a broad firing range Orton cone 03 to 4.  It is compatible with a wide range of commercial earthenware glazes.
As a 60 mesh body, it has good balance, i.e. adequate tooth for hand-building but not too coarse on the hands when throwing.

Mesh: 60#
Bisque: 06 (Orton cones)
Glaze: 03 to 4 (Orton cones)
Shrinkage: 6% (Wet to fired)
Cream: When fired in Oxidation.
