Mayco Colors is an American brand that produces premium quality glazes and other ceramic products. Founded in 1954, they are now based in Hilliard, Ohio and have grown to become an internationally recognised company.

Sajo Ceramics is proud to be an official distributor for Mayco in Australia. We supply a wide selection of Mayco products, ensuring their outstanding glazes are accessible to the Australian ceramics community.

The extensive Mayco range includes excellent Stoneware glazes that can be fired up to cone 10 (1300°C) and yield an enormous range of colours, effects, and textures. Their Stoneware Gloss glazes are extremely stable and intermix to create custom hues. The Stroke & Coat glazes are vivid gloss colours for cone 06, and the majority retain vibrancy even at cones 6 - 10, with the added flexibility of application to green or bisqueware. Mayco excels at producing beautiful crystal glazes, such as the Jungle Gem Crystal & Crystalites ranges, not to mention many of the Stoneware glazes also contain crystals for eye-catching speckled results and impressive breaking over texture.
The glazes can also be combined to produce endless design possibilities and our community frequently shares exciting new glaze combinations and application methods.

Mayco products go through extensive testing including review by certified toxicologists to meet strict standards for consumer health and safety. All products are manufactured in the US, undergoing thorough quality control to consistently provide the best products on the market.
As with all glazes, we recommend testing on tiles of favourite clay bodies to examine the effects before committing to application on a final piece.
